Return & Refund Policy
This policy applies to all purchases made through the Jreami Design store at shop.jreamidesign.com, operated by Jordan Gichuhi, Director of Jreami Design. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. Digital Products | No Refund Policy
1.1 All sales of digital products are final. Jreami Design does not offer refunds, exchanges, store credits, or replacements on any digital product purchase under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
a. Change of mind after purchase.
b. Accidental purchase.
c. The product not meeting subjective expectations.
d. Incompatibility with the buyer's software, device, or operating system.
e. Failure to read the product description, software requirements, or compatibility notes before purchasing.
f. The product containing AI generated imagery where this has been disclosed in the product listing or in the Jreami Design AI Use and Disclosure Policy.
g. A newer version or updated product becoming available after purchase.
1.2 Digital products are made available for download immediately or shortly after purchase. Because the product can be accessed and retained from the moment of download, all sales are non-refundable once the file has been made available, regardless of whether the buyer has downloaded it.
1.3 It is the buyer's sole responsibility to review the full product description, including software requirements, file formats, and compatibility information, before completing a purchase. Jreami Design is not responsible for purchases made without reading the product description.
1.4 No exchanges are offered on digital products. If a buyer purchases the wrong product, a new purchase must be made.
2. Corrupted or Incomplete Files
2.1 This is the sole exception to the no refund policy for digital products. If a digital product file is corrupted, incomplete, or fails to download correctly through no fault of the buyer, the buyer must contact contact@jreamidesign.com within 7 days of purchase with the following:
a. Their order number.
b. A clear description of the issue.
c. Screenshots or evidence of the problem where possible.
2.2 Jreami Design will investigate and, where the fault is confirmed to be with the file itself, provide a replacement download link. A replacement file does not constitute a refund and the original sale remains final.
2.3 Issues arising from the buyer's own software, device settings, internet connection, or failure to follow download instructions do not qualify under this clause.
3. Design Services | Refund Policy
3.1 Design services booked through the Jreami Design store, including social media post design bundles and packaging design services, are governed by the Jreami Design service agreement sent to the buyer after purchase. The refund terms for services are set out in full in that agreement.
3.2 In summary, and without limiting the full terms of the service agreement:
a. Payment made at checkout constitutes a non-refundable retainer securing the buyer's exclusive project slot.
b. A partial refund of 75% may be available if the buyer cancels in writing within 7 days of payment AND more than 30 days before the confirmed start date. Outside of this window, the payment is non-refundable in full.
c. Once work has commenced, all payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.
d. The full terms, including client responsibilities, revision rounds, timelines, and chargeback policy, are set out in the service contract which must be signed before work begins.
3.3 By purchasing a design service through this store, the buyer acknowledges that they will receive and must sign a service agreement before their project begins, and that the refund terms in that agreement are binding.
4. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
4.1 Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through a bank, card provider, or payment processor is not an acceptable substitute for contacting Jreami Design directly to resolve a concern. All chargebacks will be contested.
4.2 For digital products: initiating a chargeback after a file has been made available for download will be treated as fraudulent misuse of the chargeback process. Jreami Design will submit download records, purchase confirmation, and these terms as evidence to contest the dispute.
4.3 For design services: initiating a chargeback after work has commenced is a material breach of the service contract. All rights to designs produced revert immediately to Jreami Design and the full invoice amount may be pursued through legal proceedings.
4.4 If you have a genuine concern about your purchase, please contact contact@jreamidesign.com before raising a dispute. Jreami Design will make reasonable efforts to resolve concerns within 14 days of receiving written notice.
